Help Wanted: Wading Through the Virtual #%@&

Simply Virtual is flooded with resumes from people all across the country who want flexibility and desire to make their own rules. It makes the job that much harder, to wade through the many well-intentioned, corporate trained folks who rarely consider how they might feel after cooking under the pressure of isolation, results focused productivity standards and stress that accompanies a typical work at home role.

Change Management for Virtual Teams

I happened across a local magazine article entitled “How Newcomers are Making This a New City.”

The article made me think about the dynamic of adding new members to virtual teams. Whether your virtual “team” is a few service providers who have only you (the client) in common, a group of geographically dispersed help desk or call center representatives or a burgeoning virtual assistant practice, growth can certainly shake things up.
